Public information event - VWHDC Local Plan 2031 (Part 2)

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 19:30

Calling all residents - more homes in East Hanney?

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 10:36 by Guy Langton

The Parish Council would like help from all interested residents regarding two possible areas of development in the village of East Hanney.

The first is with a response to the Vale of White Horse DC Local Plan 2031 part 2. The final version of this Plan identifies two potential sites for housing development - north of Ashfields Lane and north of the current and planned developments on the Steventon road. The PC will be holding an open event on the 15th November in the Olde Hanney Room at the HWMH to help identify how villagers may respond to the Plan. As a reminder, the Vale's consultation on the Plan is only open until 5pm on 22nd November 2017.

Also, the Vale has now received three applications for the land north of Summertown, acquired for development by Bovis Homes. An open event will be help on the 22nd or 23rd of November by the PC to help residents understand the issues and implications and to find out how they can respond to the applications. The Vale has given the statutory three weeks for response, so all responses must be submitted by noon on the 28th November 2017.

Thank you and the PC hopes to see you at one or both of these events.
