A man from East Hendred was convicted of fly-tipping offences and not having a waste carriers' licence and was ordered to pay £1,763.60 after dumping rubbish at land near Upthorpe Downs and also at East Hendred.

East Hanney PC has arranged for the gulley throughout the main routes through the village on the 18th January 2020. They start work early in the morning so if road-side parking could be kept to a minimum, the contractors would be grateful.
